Chiefs XI To Face Zamalek Announced

Posted on February 14, 2026

Kaizer Chiefs have announced their starting line-up to face Egyptian giants Zamalek SC in the CAF Confederation Cup this evening.

Zamalek SC are set to host Chiefs at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia, with Chiefs coming to this game sitting top of the group after collecting 10 points in the five games they’ve played.

Amakhosi missed an opportunity to secure a quarter-final spot last weekend when they won 2-1 over Al Masry instead of winning by a two-goal margin. They find themselves in a tricky situation where they need to at least get a draw this evening to qualify for the quarter-finals.

Chiefs didn’t start their CAFCC campaign well after losing against Al-Masry away from home before playing to a 1-1 draw with Zamalek SC. But they bounced back, winning three in a row, beating Zesco United twice before they were narrowly defeated Al Masry last week.
