Orlando Pirates v Marumo Gallants: Date, Kickoff time, TV channel

Posted on February 11, 2026

Orlando Pirates will be in action this weekend against Marumo Gallants in a Betway Premiership clash.

The two sides met in a cup game this season, which was won by the Buccaneers.

Abdeslam Ouaddou’s men needed extra time to beat Gallants 1-0 in the final of the Carling Knockout Cup in December.

The Sea Robbers have found it hard to break Bahlabane Ba Ntwa’s defence, and they could be in for a long day if they fail to take their chances.

When are Orlando Pirates playing Marumo Gallants?

The Buccaneers host Gallants at the Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday (14 February). Kick off is for 15:30 and the match will be televised on SABC 1.

A win will put Pirates six points clear of second-place Mamelodi Sundowns given them an advantage going into the midweek clash against the Tshwane giants. Defeat at home will be a big blow to Ouaddou’s men as they would have failed to extend their gap on top.

Marumo Gallants are in the relegation battle and a draw at Orlando against a formidable Pirates side will see them climb one spot. A win, though, could place them as high as 10th in the Betway Premiership.

The Buccaneers are favourites to win the match, but any hiccups could open doors to the likes of Kaizer Chiefs and AmaZulu.

Both Masandawana and Amakhosi are playing in CAF competitions, which gives the Sea Robbers a chance to sail even further. Marumo Gallants won just three out of their 17 league matches but beating Orlando Pirates might be all they need to revive their season.

Can Pirates extend their gap?
