Pirates Suffer Suspension Blow For TTM Clash

Posted on February 7, 2026

Orlando Pirates will be without defender Lebone Seema for the Nedbank Cup Last 32 Round against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila due to suspension.

Seema collected his fourth yellow card of the season in their 2-0 win against AmaZulu in midweek and will sit out this afternoon’s clash.

Since making the switch to the Buccaneers from TS Galaxy in July 2025, the 22-year-old has racked up 21 appearances with a single goal across all competitions for the Mayfair outfit.

Pirates confirmed that the centre-back will not play part against TTM as they look to seal passage to the Last 16 round after Mamelodi Sundowns qualified and defending champions Kaizer Chiefs were dumped out.

“They will have to cope without one of their defensive linchpins against Tshakhuma, with centre-back Lebone Seema ruled out through suspension after collecting his fourth yellow card of the season against AmaZulu in midweek,” the club said on their official website.
