Former Downs Winger Nku Lands New Club

Posted on January 30, 2026

Sekhukhune United have reached an agreement with Stellenbosch FC for winger Lesiba Nku.

Latest information received by this publication states that Sekhukhune reached a club-to-club agreement with Stellenbosch for winger Lesiba Nku.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns winger was transfer-listed by Stellenbosch in early December last year alongside Bradley Mojela. Since then he didn’t play any games and has been training on his own.

This publication understands Babina Noko have now secured the signing of Nku, who follows Mojela, and the deal is expected to be finalized on Thursday before the transfer window closes at midnight.

Nku made 14 appearances this season and 35 overall since joining Stellies from Sundowns in January 2025.

Sekhukhune are back in action on Sunday and it remains to be seen whether Nku will make the squad, should all formalities of his transfer be completed before tonight’s transfer deadline.
