Two more Orlando Pirates players linked with loan exits

Posted on January 21, 2026

Orlando Pirates FC have a plethora of talent at the club this season.

The Buccaneers welcomed 15 new faces to the club at the beginning of the season.

Abdeslam Ouaddou is actually spoilt for choice in almost every position. And while that’s a good headache to have as a coach, the same can’t be said for their fringe players.

Orlando Pirates duo linked with loan moves

According to the latest transfer reports, two fringe Orlando Pirates players are inching closer towards an exit from the club.

Sifiso Luthuli and Siyabonga Ndlozi are set to join Magesi FC on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

24-year-old striker Luthuli has struggled to break into the Bucs’ first-team with the likes of Yanele Mbuthuma and Evidence Makgopa firing on all cylinders.

In a bid to get some much needed game-time, the Bucs academy graduate is set to join struggling Betway Premiership side Magesi FC.

Fellow Orlando Pirates right-back Ndlozi looks all but set to join Luthuli at Magesi as well after finding the going tough in Mayfair.

“Betway Premiership side Magesi FC have secured the services of striker Sifiso Luthuli and right-back Siyabonga Ndlozi from Orlando Pirates. The two players join the club on loan moves until the end of the 2025/26 season,” – a FARPost report read.

The same publication further claimed that the Bucs duo already featured for Magesi last weekend in a friendly tournament. A formal announcement is expected in the coming days.

Bucs loanee update

The Buccaneers already have eight players out on loan from the club. This includes Tshegofatso Mabasa who recently joined Stellenbosch FC.

Mabasa was also deemed surplus to requirements at Orlando Pirates by Abdeslam Ouaddou. He made an immediate impact at Stellenbosch, scoring on debut for the Cape side on Tuesday night.

His match-winning goal meant Stellenbosch moved four points clear of the relegation zone.
