Sundowns & Orbit College Announced XI

Posted on January 19, 2026

In the return of Betway Premier after 42 days break, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orbit College confirmed their starting line-ups.

The Betway Premiership makes its return this evening at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, where defending champions Sundowns lock horns with newcomers Orbit College.

Sundowns have a chance to go top of the Premiership this evening should they be victorious. Players coming back from AFCON also had a bit of time to rest after Bafana were eliminated in the round of 16.

Despite their availability, midfield maestro Teboho Mokoena will see this one out as he will be serving a suspension after receiving four yellow cards.

Also Orbit College is without Monnapule Saleng, who recently joined Sundowns. Saleng will not feature, though, as he is injured, as reported by iDiski Times last week. The newcomers will be hoping to cause an upset and help them move away from relegation.

This is the first time these two sides will face each other. Sundowns is the second-highest scoring team in the Betway Premiership after Orlando Pirates. Meanwhile, Orbit Colleges scored 12 goals and conceded 25 goals.

Here are the line-ups:

Sundowns XI: Williams, Johannes, Kekana, Morena, Sibiya, Mkhulise, Adams, Letlhaku, Matthews, Sales, Mothiba

SUBS: Onyango, Khoza, Mdunyelwa, Basadien, Reisinho, Allende, Zwane, Santos, Leon

Orbit College XI: Chibwe, Mkhabele, Jingana, Mphahlele,Nhlapo, Potsana, Batsi, Mokwena, Ramosala, Modiemong, Malatsi

SUBS: Lukhele, Ngiba, Mngqibisa, Mahlangu, Mabele, Ralani, Sethodi,  Manyedi
