Kaizer Chiefs will soon be back on the green grass, aiming to carry on climbing the Betway Premiership campaign.

Kaizer Chiefs are finally back in action, soon

After the long AFCON 2025 break, the Glamour Boys resume their campaign against Golden Arrows on Tuesday, 20 January. Kickoff is at 19:30. Chiefs are just four points adrift of the summit, while Arrows are stuck in mid-table with 16 points.

Stars to leave Chiefs

Camrin Smit will leave Kaizer Chiefs despite impressing the technical staff. The teenager spent 13 months on the sidelines with a serious achilles injury. Another player on the opposite end of the career spectrum, Tashreeq Morris, could also leave Naturena after failing to secure a regular place in the first team. The 31-year-old has zero appearances in the 2025-2026 Betway Premiership campaign.

Kaizer Chiefs lose out on Dithejane

Versatile 21-year-old TS Galaxy man Puso Dithejane has become one of the most reliable performers in the Betway Premiership. Mamelodi Sundowns were thought to be keen on his signature, and his former club, Kaizer Chiefs, also contacted the player. However, Dithejane will be linking up with Mbekezeli Mbokazi in the MLS. Dithejane has four goals and four assists in the league this season from just 12 appearances.
