Latest On Kodisang’s Future In Portugal

Posted on January 12, 2026

Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit AVS Futebol SAD have terminated Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Kobamelo Kodisang’s loan deal which was set to run till the end of the 2025/26 campaign.

Kodisang’s agent, Mike Makaab, confirmed recently that the winger’s loan spell at AVS Futebol SAD could be cut short due to lack of game time affected by technical team changes.

The 26-year-old winger netted just a single goal with zero assists in five matches during his loan stint at SAD.

On Sunday afternoon, the club officially confirmed that they had terminated his loan deal as the player is now expected to return to his parent club Sundowns.

“AVS Soccer SAD, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kobamelo Kodisang have agreed to terminate the player’s temporary transfer contract,” an AVS statement read on X.

“At that point, Kodisang is no longer an AFS player. To him, this society wishes happiness for the future and thanks for the services rendered.”
