New Signings Set For Sundowns Arrival

Posted on January 11, 2026

New Mamelodi Sundowns signings Khulumani Ndamane and Brayan León are set for arrival at the team’s camp in Polokwane today.

Ndamane, 21, joined the Brazilians at the resumption of the current season but was immediately loaned back to TS Galaxy.

The Bafana Bafana left-back, who made 15 appearances across all competitions and scored one goal in the process for the Adnan Beganovic-led side, is set to be officially unveiled as a new Masandawana player.

The 25-year-old León on the other hand became Sundowns’ first signing of the January transfer window in a $3.2 million move (over R50 million) from Colombian outfit Independiente Medellín.

Sundowns have made their intentions clear on defending their Betway Premiership title as well as challenging for the CAF Champions League crown after coming agonisingly close in the final last season, by making another attacking addition with the signing of Orlando Pirates winger Monnapule Saleng.

Sundowns are back in domestic action when they take on Orbit College in the league on Monday, 19 January, at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
