Zakhele Lepasa Set to Depart Orlando Pirates at Season’s End

Posted on May 27, 2025

Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa will officially leave the club at the conclusion of the current season.

The 27-year-old forward, who spent the entire campaign on the sidelines without making a single competitive appearance, is among a group of players expected to be offloaded during the off-season as the club prepares for a squad overhaul.

Lepasa’s departure marks the end of a frustrating chapter in his Pirates career, with injuries and stiff competition for places limiting his impact in recent seasons.

More player exits are anticipated as Pirates look to refine their squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
