Zajmovic, Baartman, Nabi, new striker

Kaizer Chiefs have made a total of seven new signings this transfer period but expect more to come in the next few weeks.

Last week, Amakhosi announced the signing of Asanele Velebayi for free after the PSL Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) declared the ex-Cape Town Spurs star a free agent.

Another former Spurs player that Chiefs are set to sign is Luke Baartman. The case regarding Baartman is still pending and the PSL should deliver their verdict in the coming days.

Which players can Kaizer Chiefs still sign in this transfer period?

Amakhosi missed out on former TS Galaxy forward Dzenan Zajmovic. The Serbian striker was linked with Chiefs but has since resurfaced in Iran, signing with Zob Ahan after an impressive season in which he scored 12 goals in all competitions for the Rockets.

Zajmovic had been linked with a move to Naturena but ultimately decided to pursue opportunities elsewhere following a period during which he was open to offers from Premier Soccer League clubs.

Nigerian striker Etiosa Ighodaro is another option for the Soweot giants. He is contracted with Mamelodi Sundowns but Kaizer Chiefs can sign him on loan before the transfer window closes. The Nigerian spent last season on loan with AmaZulu and is expected to leave Chloorkop in the coming weeks.

With the league having kicked off over a week ago, Amakhosi fans are wondering when Nasreddine Nabi will return to the team. The Chiefs coach left the country to attend his wife just before the Betway Premiership started. The club have not announced his return.

Who should Amakhosi sign?
