Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane says he aims to get more coaching experience and it would be an honour to coach Amakhosi in future.
Every young coach has goals, short and long-term, and Letsholonyane is no different.
The Soweto-born lived his dream of becoming a professional football player and played for one of the biggest teams in history of South African football, Chiefs, while also representing South Africa at the highest level.
The 43-year-old has since switched the football pitch for the dugout and is currently the head coach of Matebele FC in Botswana, where he was given an opportunity to showcase his coaching skills, learn and gain more experience.
“My short-term goal is to gain more experience, learn as much as I can and establish myself, contribute to football in general, give opportunities to aspiring footballers as I was given,” Letsholonyane told iDiski Times when asked if he’d like coach Amakhosi one day.
“Most definitely would love to, it would be a great honour to be a Kaizer Chiefs football club Coach.”
