Young Africans SC have officially announced former Mamelodi Sundowns and AmaZulu mentor Romain Folz as their new head coach.
Folz returns to coaching after spending the previous season as a Sporting Director at Olympique Akbou in Algeria.
His appointment came soon after he was released from his contract by Sundowns where he worked alongside Manqoba Mngqithi.
The 35-year-old French mentor begins a new chapter of his career at a team well known for winning trophies.
Folz’s immediate mandate is to ensure that Yanga SC retain their Premier League crown and do well in the CAF Champions League.
Yanga SC head into the new season as the defending league champions after beating Fadlu Davids’ Simba SC to the title last term.
