When is the next Kaizer Chiefs match?

Posted on January 12, 2026

Kaizer Chiefs fans can finally start to mentally prepare for their next Betway Premiership assignment. It’s been a long wait.

Chiefs are decently poised as we enter the second half of the 2025-2026 campaign.

Kaizer Chiefs face Golden Arrows next

After the long AFCON 2025 break, the Glamour Boys resume their campaign against Golden Arrows on Tuesday, 20 January. Kickoff is at 19:30. Chiefs are just four points adrift of the summit, while Arrows are stuck in mid-table with 16 points.

Is Dithejane going to do the unthinkable?

This term, versatile 21-year-old Puso Dithejane has taken his output up a notch with four goals and four assists from 12 starts in the league for TS Galaxy. Although Pirates have an abundance of quality wingers, there’s a growing belief that Rele Mofokeng’s long-term future lies away from the club. Dithejane’s ability to play anywhere on the right-hand side or even in central midfield. The former Kaizer Chiefs man is a wanted man, and the Glamour Boys would be furious to see him move to Orlando Pirates. Tshegofatso Mabasa is also a reported target for Chiefs.

Smit and Morris to leave Kaizer Chiefs

Camrin Smit will leave Kaizer Chiefs despite impressing the technical staff. The teenager spent 13 months on the sidelines with a serious achilles injury. Another player on the opposite end of the career spectrum, Tashreeq Morris, could also leave Naturena after failing to secure a regular place in the first team. The 31-year-old has zero appearances in the 2025-2026 Betway Premiership campaign.
