Orlando Pirates surge up the Betway Premiership table
A 3-1 win away to Golden Arrows has elevated Pirates to second place on the Betway Premiership table. They’ve also got two games in hand on leaders Sundowns and can usurp them if they win their next clash against Chippa on 22 November. It’s been an indifferent season so far by Rele Mofokeng’s standards, until now. The exciting number 10/winger finally registered his first goal contribution of the campaign last night with an assist off the bench. Mofokeng’s overall record for Pirates is stellar, directly contributing to 42 goals in 102 games for the Sea Robbers. Patrick Maswanganyi also grabbed an assist from the bench.

Where is Sesane?
There’s still no sign of gifted defensive stalwart Thabiso Sesane.
