Orlando Pirates kept up the pressure on Mamelodi Sundowns in the Betway Premiership title race after cruising to 5-0 win over Golden Arrows on Tuesday to ensure they remain well placed on the log.
It was an important result that ensures the Buccaneers remain just two points adrift of Sundowns with seven matches to play.
The two-team race for the title looks set to make for a thrilling conclusion to a league season that has been far more competitive than recent years when Sundowns comfortably walked their way to the title.

Pirates too good for Arrows
Another clinical display from Orlando Pirates saw them continue their remarkable scoring run with another emphatic win over Golden Arrows at Orlando Amstel Arena.
The Buccaneers marked their return to their homebase in style as they made it two wins in as many league matches to keep hopes of league honours alive.
The emphatic scoreline on the night also took their goal tally to 11 in their two most recent fixtures, while their overall Goal Difference in the league is superior to Sundowns (36 to 30).
Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou acknowledged there was everything to play for in the title race.
“Yes, you’re right we had full control of the game in the attacking animation, in the defensive animation I think we were dominant in all areas. So, congratulations to the boys, you can see that Pirates is still alive and we’re going to fight until the end whatever happened,” Ouaddou told SuperSport TV.
“But we can see that when the boys start to be efficient in the last third, we can see that we can score a lot of goals at happened at the beginning of the season in the middle but you remember I was telling you that we need to be more efficient.
“So, now they are putting the goals I’m happy and we will have a fantastic gift at the end of the season,” he continued.
