Tso – You Can’t Buy Experience At Woollies

Posted on January 28, 2026

Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Benedict Vilakazi was impressed with how substitutes changed the game against Sekhukhune United.

The tie looked like it was heading for a goalless draw but the introduction of Peter Shalulile, Nuno Santos, Aubrey Modiba and Khuliso Mudau helped Masandawana over the line with two stoppage goals.

Tso said the players experience showed, and they justified why they should not be benched.

“I always say this that there are games where coaches will win and there are games that players will win,” said Tso on iDiski TV.

“This game, players won it because they came in showing the coach that I’m better, you don’t have to put me on the bench. I mean look at that ball from [Jayden] Adams to Mudau. Mudau played back with a header and then Tashreeq [Matthews] played a pass back to Mudau and look at what Mudau did, he cut inside, the same action as [Kamogelo] Sebelebele.

“And I said it, give yourself a second or two in that box, if Sebelebele did what Mudau did he was going to lay it to [Oswin] Appollis. Now it tells you, you cannot go to Woolworths and buy experience.

“You must earn it and the more you play you’ll earn that. I mean a good lay and a good finish by Santos.”
