Tso Makes Bold CKC Title Claim For Ouaddou

Posted on November 12, 2025

iDiski TV analyst Benedict Vilakazi says Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou is smelling his second trophy after qualifying for the Carling Knockout Cup final.

Pirates defeated Richards Bay 1-0 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in the semi-final to advance and book a meeting with Ouaddou’s former side Marumo Gallants who beat Golden Arrows 4-2 on penalties after the game ended 2-2 in regulated time.

Ouaddou has already lifted the MTN8 trophy with Pirates earlier this season and the league Cup final being his second in South African football.

‘Tso’ reckons that the coach is now getting used to lifting trophies.

“It’s nice to coach Orlando Pirates because when you get there, they are used to lifting trophies,” said Tso on iDiski TV.

“So, it also rubs off on your shoulders. So, coach Ouaddou is now used to lifting trophies, so he is going for a second trophy.

“Well done to Ezimnyana ngenkani and this is a thing that happens regularly [reaching finals] at Pirates, that’s why it may even look like I’m not even excited because we are used to this.”

The final will be held at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on December 6.
