TS Galaxy star reveals missed calls from Chiefs boss

Posted on January 11, 2026

Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs are hot on the heels of TS Galaxy superstar Puso Dithejane.

Tim Sukazi, the Rockets’ chairman, has confirmed to the media that Amakhosi’s Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr, the scout, Thembela Maliwa, and DStv Diski Challenge coach, Vela Khumalo, and the Football Manager, Bobby Motuang, all called Dithejane’s phone.

KAIZER CHIEFS CHASE PUSO DITHEJANE

After scoring four goals and creating six assists in 15 games, Dithejane has become the subject of interest for Amakhosi, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Speaking to Ikwekwezi FM, Sukazi confirmed that the Glamour Boys are keen to sign their former junior star.

“I see most journalists are linking him with a move back to Kaizer Chiefs, so yes, yesterday I was with him, and he showed me a number of missed calls from Kaizer Jr.,” Sukazi told Ikwekwezi, as per KickOff.

“Another missed call from Tera Maliwa, the Kaizer Chiefs scout. The boy’s father also phoned me to inform me he also received a call from Bobby [Motaung].

“He also showed me a missed call from coach Vela Khumalo,” Sukazi added.

Sukazi said it appears Kaizer Chiefs are still in the process of courting Dithejane and that it remains to be seen how things will develop.

He added that Chiefs boss Bobby Motaung had contacted the player’s father, who directed him to speak with Sukazi instead.

Sukazi stressed that TS Galaxy has no issue with a club approaching a player first, but for now, Dithejane remains a Galaxy player.

He confirmed that if Kaizer Chiefs officially approach the club, they will sit down, consider the proposal, and decide from there.

HOW HE LEFT NATURENA

Dithejane’s exit from Naturena was after the infamous ball boy incident. He and Omega Mdaka, another reserve team player, refused to serve as ball boys for a senior team match.

The dreadlocked attacker from Christiana, North West, explained that he was exhausted from having played a game earlier that day and didn’t agree with the idea of serving as a ball boy while aspiring to break into the senior team.

Kaizer Chiefs later explained that the regular ball boys were unavailable due to school examinations. Amakhosi later decided to dismiss the two players, before placing a R1.5 million development compensation price tag on each player.

Dithejane subsequently joined TS Galaxy, where he quickly established himself as a super talent.

WHERE DO YOU THINK THE PLAYER WILL MOVE TO?
