TS Galaxy Coach Gives Latest Transfer Ban Update

Posted on February 17, 2026

TS Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic has provided the latest update on the club’s FIFA transfer ban, which was imposed in December.

The Rockets were handed a three-window transfer ban by FIFA due to a contractual dispute with Liberian player Jegbay Morris Konneh.

Morris was set to sign for the Mpumalanga-based side, but the move could not materialise after South African authorities declined to issue him a work permit.

Despite not having played for the club, he approached the world’s governing body to claim the money owed to him, resulting in a three-window ban for the Tim Sukazi-owned side.

Beganovic says the club has settled the payment and is expecting FIFA to lift the ban, possibly next week. The club will then be able to register Tshepo Kakora, Sedwyn George, and two other youngsters whom the coach said they have signed.

“Last information that I have, we removed one FIFA ban, and then we pay also, at the same time we pay for another guy, it’s Jack Bay in Liberia,” said Beganovic.

“But you know how FIFA reacts, you need to pay, and then you need to wait, another side receives the money, and then he needs to confirm with FIFA, and then FIFA removes the ban.

“I think next week we can expect to remove all the bans that we have, and then the second ban, and then I think we have a right to register, we have already registered four players.

“But we wait, and then I think also we can have more players on the bench, and better quality, especially in the middle of the players, Tshepo is there from Magesi, and then also George from Royal AM, and then two young players.

“I think it will be good for us to register all players, and then it’s one and only goal to finish between eight clubs this season.”
