Title time? Orlando Pirates’ pivotal February fixtures confirmed

Posted on February 4, 2026

Orlando Pirates have surprise competition from Kaizer Chiefs as they look to end a long Betway Premiership title drought. What’s coming up?

Orlando Pirates fixtures in February

Pirates remain in pole position to claim their first league crown since 2012 after a Relebohile Mofokeng-inspired win over AmaZulu. However, to say the remainder of February could be make or break for their title ambitions is an understatement. Here’s what’s ahead in the month of love, including matches against defending champions Sundowns and surprise title rivals Kaizer Chiefs:

  • Sat, 14 Feb: Pirates vs Gallants, 15:30
  • Wed, 18 Feb: Pirates vs Sundowns, 19:30
  • Sat, 28 Feb: Chiefs vs Pirates, 15:30

Kaizer Chiefs fixtures in February

Could it be that Chiefs become Pirates’ biggest threat? They have a busy schedule in the second month of 2026. Although talented 23-year-old Rushwin Dortley hasn’t featured this term, it hasn’t shown in recent weeks. The Glamour Boys are on a stunning run of six consecutive clean sheets across all competitions, which has seen them emerge as genuine title contenders.

  • Wed 4 Feb: Stellenbosch vs Chiefs (DHL Cape Town Stadium, 19:00, Nedbank Cup R32)
  • Sun 8 Feb: Chiefs vs Al Masry SC (18:00)
  • Sun 15 Feb: Zamalek vs Chiefs (18:00)
  • Wed 18 Feb: Siwelele vs Chiefs (19:30)
  • Tue 24 Feb: Chiefs vs Stellenbosch (19:30)
  • Sat 28 Feb: Chiefs vs Orlando Pirates (FNB Stadium, 15:30)
