Three Orlando Pirates news stories of the week

Posted on November 2, 2025

Orlando Pirates’ top stories of the week feature Cemran Dansin, Evidence Makgopa and Tshepang Moremi.

CEMRAN DANSIN PRODUCES MAGIC IN MAMELODI SUNDOWNS TERRITORY

Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou stunned us all on Saturday. The 20-year-old midfielder, Dansin, who earned his first start as a professional against Magesi, made the starting 11 against the champions at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

The former Transnet School of Excellence star produced the finest moment of his career. With Orlando Pirates on the ropes after Mamelodi Sundowns’ lead through Peter Shalulile, Dansin hit a world-class volley with his weaker left foot that hit the underside of the crossbar before hitting the net. Leaving Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Ronwen Williams standing dead still and Sipho Mbule open-mouthed.
