Three defenders and four attackers

Posted on August 15, 2025

Kaizer Chiefs have been quietly but steadily reshaping their squad for the new Betway Premiership season, following a clear plan to add depth, flexibility, and proven quality in every department.

From the backline to the final third, Amakhosi are putting together a group they believe can compete for every trophy on offer this season.

The latest addition is Asanele Velebayi from Cape Town Spurs, whose arrival pushes the tally of new signings to seven.
