Sundowns wingback in Durban to complete loan deal

Mamelodi Sundowns wingback Terrence Mashego is reportedly in Durban to complete his season-long loan deal with Durban City.

Mashego has seemingly been deemed surplus to requirements by Miguel Cardoso and his technical team.

According to KickOff, Sundowns have agreed to let him go and seek regular game time at newly-promoted Durban City.

City, under Gavin Hunt, are targeting players who are not used regularly by their clubs to at least try and stay up this season.

And so far, they have done a fantastic job but more players are expected with struggling Kaizer Chiefs striker Tashreeq Morris also a target.

SUNDOWNS WINGBACK MASHEGO TO DURBAN CITY?

“Mamelodi Sundowns left-back Terrence Mashego is set to embark on a new chapter in his career, with an official announcement from a fellow Premiership outfit expected imminently,” reads part of the report.

“KickOff understands that Sundowns and Durban City have agreed on a season-long loan deal for the 29-year-old defender, who has already arrived in KwaZulu-Natal to finalise the move.

“Sources close to the matter have confirmed that the deal is all but done, with only finer details left before the deal is announced.”

WILL MASHEGO EVER RETURN TO CHLOORKOP?
