Mamelodi Sundowns are set to part ways with one of the club’s longest-serving technical team members, Goolam Valodia, after 15 years at the club.
As first reported by Sportswire, Sundowns is in talks with performance analyst and scout Goolam for a settlement as he is set to part ways with the side.
The servant has had a great journey at Sundowns, where he won 10 league titles, the CAF Champions League, CAF Super Cup, three Nedbank Cups, Telkom Knockout, and the MTN8 trophy.
Goolam has been more on the logistics side for Sundowns, where he would arrive at the opponent’s venue a few days before Sundowns arrive, but he hasn’t been to Sundowns’ games this season.
He was last around the club during the FIFA Club World Cup, where Sundowns played good football and entertained the football lovers around the country.
He follows in the footsteps of Thembela Maliwa, who left at the beginning of last season and went on to join Kaizer Chiefs.
