Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso has announced his starting line-up for the MTN8 semi-final first leg clash against Orlando Pirates at Orlando Stadium.

Sundowns have a good start to the season after collecting four points out of a possible six points. But Cardoso needs to end Sundowns’ hoodoo run against Pirates in cup games.

There have been rumours around players exits at Sundowns, which the club confirmed has affected the squad.

The Betway Premiership champions also hammered Richards Bay 4-0 in the quarter-finals to reach the semis.

Sundowns have enjoyed facing Pirates in all competitions after beating them 24 times out in the 59 matches, while 15 games ended as draws. Peter Shalulile is highest scorer for Sundowns in this fixture.

Here is how they line-up:

Sundowns XI: Williams, Kekana, Cupido Modiba, Mdunyelwa, Mokoena, Allende, Zwane, Sales, Rayners, Matthews

Subs: Onyango, Lebusa, Lunga, Adams, Aubaas, Mkhulise, Lethlaku, Mabena, Shalulile
