Sukazi Confirms Decision On Sundowns’ Dithejane Offer

TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi has confirmed the club’s decision on Mamelodi Sundowns’ bid for midfielder Puso Dithejane.

The 21-year-old has played an influential role for the Mpumalanga-based outfit in both the previous and current seasons. This campaign, he has contributed four goals and six assists in 15 appearances across all competitions.

The Brazilians made an approach to the Rockets with the intention of signing the player in the January transfer window, continuing their efforts to bolster the squad following a few recent acquisitions.

Sukazi said the amount offered by the Brazilians fell short of the club’s valuation, prompting them to reject the initial bid from the Tshwane giants.

“It’s true, we received an offer from Sundowns but we respectfully rejected it because it didn’t meet our valuation for the player,” said Sukazi on Prime Time Sports on UKhozi FM.

Galaxy have already parted ways with Khulumani Ndamane, who had been on loan at the club after signing for Sundowns at the start of the season.

Meanwhile, the Betway Premiership champions have also welcomed striker Brayan León and winger Monnapule Saleng.
