Kaizer Chiefs struggling striker Tashreeq Morris could be set for a move away from Naturena before the end of September.
Morris has struggled for game time this season after having arrived at the start of the year from the now defunct SuperSport United.
Now, according to iDiski Times, Durban City have shown interest in signing Morris before the closing of the transfer window.
The domestic transfer window slams shut on 22 September, meaning clubs still have some time to complete their desired deals.
Should Morris ended up at Durban City on a proposed loan deal, he would reunite with Gavin Hunt whom he worked with at SupersSport United.
When Morris joined Chiefs in January, he was offered a two-and-a-half-year deal, meaning it expires in June 2027.
The arrival of Flavio Silva and Luke Baartman coupled with attackers Chiefs already had could mean the end of the road for Morris.
The 31-year-old is yet to score in the Amakhosi colours. He has featured in 10 competitive matches since joining them.
