Stellenbosch To Sign Amajita Winger

Stellenbosch FC have reached an agreement with Cape Town City for Amajita winger Shakeel April, iDiski Times can confirm.

This publication has learnt that Stellenbosch reached an agreement with the Citizens for the transfer of April but The deal is subject to personal terms and medicals.

April, 20, was left-out of the City squad that is facing Pretoria University at the Athlone Stadium this afternoon.

April will switch to the Cape Winelands side after he had a good start to his career start at City. The speedy winger also played a vital role in the South Africa U20 winning COSAFA Cup and AFCON U20 tournaments.

April has been monitored by lots of teams since returning from the FIFA U19 World Cup. He spent few weeks in Belgium, where he was going through assessment at Royal Antwerp FC.

But Stellies have now snatched up his signature in their bid to strengthen their squad for the second half of the campaign.
