Monnapule Saleng has been joined by two other Pirates players at Orbit College.

As reported on The South African, Yanga Madiba (Orbit College) and Thuso Molekeki (Orbit College) have both joined Orbit ahead of the 2025/26 season. Madiba and Moleleki have both joined Orbit on loan.

“Following the signing of Saleng, Orbit have also concluded a loan move for Pirates left-back Yanga Madiba. The 23-year-old will have a second loan spell with Orbit, having spent the 2023/24 season in the second division with the club,” FarPost confirmed.

Meanwhile, Goodman Mosele joins these TWO Bucs stars at PSL rivals, Chippa United.

So, SIX Pirates players are currently on loan to PSL rivals – Orbit and Chippa.

MOFOKENG AGREES LOAN DEAL WITH CHIEFS

Tefu Mofokeng has signed an extended loan deal with Botswana side, Mochudi Centre Chiefs.

“Botswana Premier League side Mochudi Centre Chiefs have extended the loan deal for Orlando Pirates promising youngster Tefo ‘Chippa’ Mofokeng,” Goal confirmed.

He will be spending another season with Mochudi Chiefs. Therefore, Mofokeng will spend the duration of the 2025/26 season with the Botswana-based side.

“Chiefs signed the Bucs youngster in February this year after impressive performances with Pele Pele FC, Pirates’ junior side in the ABC Motsepe League, Gauteng Division,”

“Chiefs were probably excited by Mofokeng’s skills and were hopeful he was going to sharpen their striking department,” they added.

“During the 2024/25 season, Mofokeng scored crucial goals for Chiefs, and in April, he managed to score in two straight games,” they concluded.
