Siwelele Block Overseas Move For Magidigidi

Posted on December 24, 2025

Amajita star Siviwe Magidigidi has seen a potential transfer to Belgian club K. Beerschot V.A. blocked by Siwelele.

The 20-year-old has enjoyed a breakout season for club and country and is widely considered one of the finest attacking talents in the South African top-flight.

Developed by the Ubuntu Academy in Cape Town before the move to Gauteng with SuperSport United – now Siwelele – he has scored four league goals in 12 games.

He also netted two goals at the U20 FIFA World Cup that recently took place in Chile, where the African champions bowed out in the last-32 stage.

Sources have confirmed Beerschot tabled an initial offer which included a potential sell on fee, but have been informed the player is not for sale ahead of the January window.

With the club among the favourites to win promotion to the top-flight this season, it remains to be seen whether they will explore their interest further at the end of the season.
