Reports: Another top coach linked with Kaizer Chiefs
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Kaizer Chiefs and Sead Ramovic are being mentioned in the same chat again. Reports from Algeria suggested that he is nearing the end of his stint at CR Belouizdad.

TROUBLE IN ALGERIA OPENS DOOR FOR KAIZER CHIEFS?

It has been suggested that he has been internally suspended amid growing tension at the club, with his departure now believed to be imminent.

The 47-year-old German-born Bosnian coach finds himself at the exit door despite guiding Belouizdad through a strong CAF Confederation Cup run.

This is not the first time Ramovic has been linked with Kaizer Chiefs. During his time at TS Galaxy, reports suggested that club chairman Tim Sukazi would have been open to negotiating a release should Amakhosi come calling.

At the time, Ramovic responded carefully when asked about the speculation, showing respect for both Amakhosi and the coaches currently in charge at Naturena.

WHAT SEAD RAMOVIC SAID ABOUT AMAKHOSI

“I have a lot of respect for my colleagues, and for that reason it would be very disrespectful for me to comment on speculation about a club that already has a coach,” he said.

“Kaizer Chiefs is one of the biggest and most historic clubs in African football… it is a club that has a special place in South African football.”

Despite the admiration, Ramovic made it clear his focus remains elsewhere. “But my responsibility today is with my team and my players at CR Belouizdad,” he added, pointing to their cup and continental ambitions at the time.

Now, however, the picture has changed. CR Belouizdad currently sit fifth in the Algerian Ligue 1. With internal instability adding to pressure on the German-born Bosnian coach. Despite this, Ramovic did lead the club to the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals.

With Belouizdad reportedly already identifying potential replacements, Ramovic’s situation appears increasingly unstable. And Kaizer Chiefs could once again be watching closely as they continue shaping their long-term coaching direction.

Ramovic also carries strong Betway Premiership experience, having overseen more than 100 matches with TS Galaxy. During his spell in South Africa, he played a key role in steering the club away from relegation danger. He guided them to a cup final, while also earning a reputation for developing young talent.

Several of those players later moved on to bigger stages, including Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates. Others earned moves abroad , with Puso Dithejane joining Chicago Fire and Samukelo Kabini signing for Malmö.

SHOULD KAIZER CHIEFS CONSIDER HIM?
