Kaizer Chiefs are close to offloading one of their strikers to PSL rivals.

Kaizer Chiefs have already offloaded a couple of attacking players, with Ranga Chivaviro (striker) and Tebogo Potsane (winger) both released earlier this transfer window.

Now, another Amakhosi attacker is facing a probable departure.

R6-MILLION CHIEFS STRIKER CLOSE TO JOINING PSL RIVALS

Chiefs striker, Tashreeq Morris is the latest Amakhosi player linked with a departure out of Naturena.

Furthermore, he is also the latest Amakhosi star linked with a move to PSL rivals.

PSL rivals, Durban City are trying to lure Morris to eThekwini.

“Durban City are looking for a striker who will strengthen their attacking department, and Morris has been their target,” the report read on Goal.

Moreover, they want to sign the Chiefs attacker on loan for the current season.

“They want the Chiefs striker on a loan for the entire season, but have yet to land their target,” the same publication added.

Ultimately, the ball is in Nasreddine Nabi and Amakhosi management’s court. Morris currently sits behind the likes of Wandile Duba and new signing, Flavio Silva. Meanwhile, Khanyisa Mayo is expected to feature prominently in the Chiefs front three this season.

AMAKHOSI PLAYERS ATTRACT INTEREST FROM PSL RIVALS

Chiefs defender, Happy Mashiane and midfielder, Samkelo Zwane have both drawn interest from prospective PSL rivals.

Durban City have also identified Mashiane as a key transfer target.

“According to Foot Afrika, Kaizer Chiefs are in talks with TS Galaxy over a possible loan move for Zwane,” The South African reported,

Meanwhile, Potsane has joined Siwelele FC. He is the first Amakhosi senior player to join PSL rivals.

Furthermore, DDC product, Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi is now playing for PSL rivals, TS Galaxy. Meaning, two Chiefs products have signed for PSL rivals. Whilst, there is interest from two BetWay Premiership sides (Durban City and TS Galaxy) over three Amakhosi players (Mashiane, Morris and Zwane).
