Posted on December 15, 2025

These Kaizer Chiefs players are set to be released to clubs within the Betway Premiership.

Kaizer Chiefs are about to undergo a major squad revamp.

So, these SEVEN Amakhosi players are likely heading out of Naturena. Meanwhile, a couple of players look set to leave Chiefs to join their PSL rivals.

CHIEFS STARS LIKELY TO BE RELEASED TO JOIN PSL RIVALS

Christian Saile is currently on loan with Gavin Hunt’s SuperSport United.

He was recently involved in a swop deal that saw Tashreeq Morris join Chiefs. However, the tall striker is not a part of Nabi’s plans so he is likely to be released permanently at the end of the season.

“I don’t think they will look at only signing one foreign player as they have different targets and to accommodate those new signings other players Saile and Dove are also likely to be released,” the report read on SoccerLaduma.

Meanwhile, Chiefs recently loaned out three players – Sabelo Radebe, Mduduzi Mdantsane Donay Jansen to rival clubs in the PSL. Radebe and Mdantsane joined Richards Bay on loan. Whilst, Jansen joined SuperSport United.

Now, according to SNL, Radebe and Mdantsane are unlikely to return to Chiefs.

Meaning, of the players loaned out only Jansen is likely to return to Naturena.

AMAKHOSI STARS RUNNING OUT OF TIME

A total of SIX Chiefs players contracts expire at the end of the season.

Therefore, some of these players will leave whilst others will be loaned out or they will earn new deals – contract extensions.

As things stand, Edmilson Dove, Zitha Kwinika, George Matlou, Ranga Chivaviro are all likely to leave Chiefs. Furthermore, Frosler has attracted interest from PSL rivals.

Therefore, only Yusuf Maart is likely to earn a contract extension at the end of the season.
