Pirates vs PLK City Starting XI Confirmed

Posted on October 22, 2025

Orlando Pirates have confirmed this evening’s starting line-up for their Betway Premiership encounter against Polokwane City at Orlando Stadium.

The Buccaneers will look to close the gap at the top of the table as they sit third on the log, having collected 15 points from seven games.

Abdeslam Ouaddou’s charges are coming off a heavy 3-0 defeat to Saint-Éloi Lupopo in Lubumbashi which ended their 11-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

Despite a stuttering start to their league campaign, losing two matches on the trot, Pirates won all five subsequent league games thereafter.

Rise and Shine on the other hand sit sixth on the log having collected four wins, two losses and three draws. They pulled off a huge 1-0 upset over Sekhukhune United in their last league match.

Here’s how both teams line-up:

Pirates Starting XI: Chaine, Seema, Mbokazi, Ndaba, Sebelebele, Nduli, Nemtajela, Maswanganyi, Moremi, Appollis, Makgopa

Subs: Dladla, Sibisi, Ndlozi, Mariko, Dabsin, Mbatha, Dlamini, Hotto, Mbuthuma

PLK City Starting XI: tbc.
