Pirates vs Chippa Starting XI Announced

Orlando Pirates have confirmed their starting line-up ahead of this evening’s Betway Premiership fixture against Chippa United at Orlando Stadium.

The Buccaneers currently find themselves second on the table on 22 points, three points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns with two games in hand.

Pirates’ last league match saw them beat Golden Arrows 3-1 to move up to second place whil the Chilli Boys remain rooted at the foot of the table with just seven points from their opening 12 matches.

Chippa have picked up just a single point since Vusumuzi Vilakazi replaced Luc Eymael on 22 October. They were thumped 3-0 defeat by AmaZulu on November 1 before playing to a dull 0-0 draw against Magesi.

The last five matches between the two sides have been dominated by Pirates with four wins while the other tie ended in a draw.

Pirates Starting XI: Chaine, Seema, Sibisi (c), Hotto, Lebitso, Mbatha, Nemtajela, Mbule, Moremi, Mofokeng, Mbuthuma

Subs: Buthelezi, Ndah, Van Rooyen, Maswanganyi, Dlamini, Makgopa, Ndaba, Appollis, Makhaula

Chippa Starting XI: Msibi, Kammies, Fasika, Majabaidbou, Modise, Mariko, Seabi, Matrose, Sithole, Figareido, Eva Nga

Subs: Sithole, Mfecane, Hlophe, Ntsundwana, Madingwana, Ndlovu, Bonani, Gamildien, Magugwana
