Pirates & Stellies Starting XIs Announced

Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC have both named their respective starting line-ups for this evening’s Betway Premiership encounter at Orlando Stadium in Soweto.

The Buccaneers are seeking their first league win of the 2025/26 campaign after going 1-0 to Sekhukhune United in their opening clash before suffering a 2-1 loss to Marumo Gallants.

Stellies on the other hand also succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs in their season opener before being held to a 1-1 draw by Magesi.

The hosts don’t have a good record against the Cape Winelands outfit having won just three, losing four and drawing five in 12 outings with Stellenbosch claiming four wins, drawing five and losing three.

Pirates Starting XI: Chaine, van Rooyen, Seema, Mbokazi (c), Hotto, Nduli, Mbatha, Sebelebele, Mofokeng, Appollis, Makgopa

Subs: Dladla, Mariko, Maswanganyi, Xoki, Mbule, Moremi, Mabasa, Ndaba

Stellies Starting XI: Stephens (c), Nkwali, Moloisane, Stanic, Mdaka, Butsaka, Jabaar, Nku, Mthiyani, Titus, Mojela

Subs: Masuluke, Mcaba, Khanyi, Khiba, Lekoloane, Phili, Mokobodi, Palace, De Jong
