Pirates & Siwelele Starting XIs Announced

Posted on September 23, 2025

Orlando Pirates and Siwelele FC have named their respective starting line-ups ahead of tonight’s Betway Premiership encounter at the Free State Stadium.

The newly-formed Bloemfontein outfit have found the going tough this term since purchasing SuperSport United in the off-season, and despite getting off to a convincing 3-1 success over Golden Arrows last month, they have since gone six matches without registering a win.

The Buccaneers on the other hand have steadily hit form since losing their opening two games of the new campaign, and captured a historic fourth consecutive MTN8 title after beating Stellenbosch a few weeks back.

Abdeslam Ouaddou’s charges eventually got their league season up and running beating Stellies 1-0 before back-to-back victories against Orbit College (1-0) and Chippa (3-0).

Here’s both teams will line up:

Siwelele Starting XI:

Pirates Starting XI: Chaine, Mbokazi (c), Seema, Lebitso, Hotto, Nduli, Mbatha, Maswanganyi, Sebelebele, Mofokeng, Mabasa
