Despite bagging maximum points in a tightly contested match, Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has urged his charges to not lose control in a match they are dominating.
The Buccaneers finally secured their first league win of the season courtesy of Kamogelo Sebelebele’s first-half beauty over Stellenbosch FC eSgodini.
In his post-match interview on SuperSport TV, Ouaddou dedicated the win to the Bucs faithful and asked for more from his players if they want to slowly climb up the Betway Premiership log.
“Yeah, of course delighted, at least we offered these three points for the fans,” he said.
“I have a thought for them [fans] because they were waiting for these three points since now two, three weeks, so I have a thought first of all for them.
“And I like to congratulate my boys because they have the character as well.
“We had a very interesting first half; we create top chances and the second half I think that we lost during 25-minute the control and I think we have to improve that if we want to go higher.
“We cannot accept to lose the control in a game that we are control since the beginning.”
