Outbound Kaizer Chiefs striker worth over R4 million heading to PSL rivals

This outgoing Kaizer Chiefs attacker is set to join their PSL rivals.

Kaizer Chiefs have released NINE players so far.

Ranga Chivaviro, Njabulo Blom, Sabelo Radebe, Edmilson Dove, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Yusuf Maart, Tebogo Potsane and Bongani Sam have all left Amakhosi. One of them is heading for their PSL rivals.

OUTBOUND CHIEFS STRIKER SET TO JOIN PSL RIVALS

Chivaviro looks set to join PSL rivals, Chippa United.

“With the new season already underway,  Chivaviro is understood to be on the verge of joining Chippa United,” KickOff reported.

So, if the move is successful, the recently departed Chiefs star will get a chance to prove his worth with another BetWay Premiership side.

Chivaviro registered just nine goals and an assist during his 45 appearances for Chiefs. This was over two seasons with the Soweto giants.

This pales in comparison to his 17-goal season with Marumo Gallants before he joined the Soweto giants. Following an underwhelming spell with Amakhosi, Chivairo will be keen to silence doubters. Therefore, a move to Chippa will give him the chance to turn a new leaf.

MORE MOVES EXPECTED AT NATURENA

To date, Chiefs have signed 10 players and confirmed the departure of eight players.

Nkanyiso Shinga, Flavio Silva, Ethan Chislett, Paseka Mako, Thabiso Monyane, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Asanele Velebayi, Etiosa Ighodaro, Luke Maartman and Lebohang Maboe have all joined Amakhosi.

However, Chiefs are not done with their transfer business yet.

Edson Castillo’s departure looks set to be announced. Whilst, Fiacre Ntwari faces a probable exit too.

DO YOU THINK RELEASING CHIVAVIRO WAS A GOOD OR BAD MOVE BY CHIEFS?
