Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has revealed how they have been gradually integrating their recent signings into the team in recent days.
The Buccaneers have bolstered their squad with the signings of Mpho Chabatsane and Daniel Msendami from Marumo Gallants, along with Andre De Jong from Stellenbosch.
The trio is expected to strengthen Abdeslam Ouaddou’s side as Pirates prepare for a demanding second half of the season in their pursuit of a first league title since 2012.
Ouaddou explained that the mid-season break was used to familiarise the new arrivals with the team’s playing philosophy, build unity, and instil team spirit. He added that the club believes the three signings will add significant value to the squad.
“We have some habits in terms of cohesion, in terms of living together and it’s important to include the new players,” Ouaddou told Pirates media department.
“We’ve showed them slides about our game model, about our team spirit, about our values in the team.
“So, it’s a moment where we can have chats with these new players to integrate them into our team. We welcomed Chabatsane, Msendami and of course Andre De Jong to come to our team.
“We are looking forward to them to bring us all the qualities and the competencies to the team.”
