Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has pleaded with the club’s fans to fill up Orlando Stadium on Saturday for their crucial CAF Champions League clash against St. Eloi Lupupo.
The Buccaneers beat Polokwane City 1-0 at Esgodini on Wednesday evening to make it six successive wins in the Betway Premiership to close their gap on Mamelodi Sundowns to just three points.
But they have a mountain to climb to still make the CAF Champions League group stages after losing the first leg of their second preliminary round clash 3-0 – with Ouaddou insisting they need the Ghost to fill up the stands this weekened.
“We need them,” he told SuperSport TV.
“In this kind of game on Saturday, we need the 12th man behind us. I hope the stadium will be packed because they have to push us.
“It will be an important game in the history of the club. We know that we need to score four goals but it will not be easy, but we will prepare for that.”
