Posted on September 18, 2025

Orlando Pirates continue to make big moves this transfer window.

Orlando Pirates have just signed their latest player.

Neo Mokoena has been promoted to the Bucs’ first team.

Pirates have just signed Mokoena from their DDC ranks.

As reported by The South African, he has signed a three-year deal with the Buccaneers senior team.

Meaning, he becomes the Bucs latest signing. In fact, he is their 15th signing of the transfer window. He joins the likes of Sipho Mbule (Mamelodi Sundowns), Yanela Mbuthuma (from Richards Bay), Masindi Nemtajela (Marumo Gallants), Tshepang Moremi (AmaZulu), Nkosikhona Ndaba (Richards Bay), Abdoulaye Dine Mariko, Abdoulaye S Mariko (both Djoliba AC), Sinoxolo Kwayiba (Chippa United), Tshepo Mashiloane (Baroka), Sihle Nduli (Stellenbosch), Oswin Appollis (Polokwane City), Kamogelo Sebelebele (TS Galaxy), Lebone Seema (TS Galaxy), Kabelo Kgositsile (Baroka FC) as Pirates newest signings.

Therefore, the Bucs have been the busiest team in the PSL transfer window. Also, they have completed over 30 deals, with 18 Pirates player departures confirmed.

MEGA-MONEY OFFER FROM EUROPE TABLED FOR MOFOKENG

Pirates have received an offer of over R25 million for Relebohile Mofokeng.

“It’s been confirmed to this publication Akron submitted a $1.5-million (R26m) offer to the Buccaneers, which was rejected, with Mofokeng looking set to remain at the club beyond the end of the current transfer window,” iDiskiTimes reported.

Meaning, Mofokeng has attracted interest from Europe, the USA, and the Middle East this transfer window. However, at the time of publication, he remains a Buccaneer.

Mofokeng is set for a career-defining year. Following interest from all over the world, the Pirates starlets will be focused on ensuring his place in the national team. Bafana Bafana are on the brink of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. So, Mofokeng will be determined to ensure he is a part of it.
