Orlando Pirates have secured the signing of Mali midfielder Abdoulaye Mariko from Djoliba AC ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The 23-year-old is set to arrive in Johannesburg today after finalizing a two-year contract with the Buccaneers, which includes an option to extend.

Mariko, known for his technical ability and composure in midfield, is expected to bolster Pirates’ squad as they prepare for the new campaign. The deal marks another key addition for the Soweto giants as they aim to strengthen their team for domestic and continental competitions.
