Orlando Pirates sit at the summit of South African football, leading the table with 35 points, while the champions Mamelodi Sundowns trail in second on 32.
The Buccaneers have not only set the pace in the league but have already added silverware to their season, lifting both the MTN8 and the Carling Knockout to underline their dominance.

But there are no perfect football teams in this game.
According to Vilakazi, who is still the club’s all-time leading goalscorer with 58 goals, has weighed in on what he believes could take the team to another level this season.
While results have largely been positive, the former midfield maestro feels the right-hand side of the pitch needs attention.
“I would try to balance that right side,” Vilakazi said on the Omniaudioafrica podcast. “For me [Deano] Van Rooyen is doing well, but he just needs to regain his confidence.
“After his serious injury, he has looked scared of certain actions. I want him to do the very same thing [Deon] Hotto and [Nkosikhona] Ndaba are doing on that left side.
“You see both Hotto and Ndaba going up to put in crosses. So you want to see the same thing on the right.
THREE OPTIONS WITH DEANO VAN ROOYEN AS FIRST CHOICE
“I now understand why coach Ouaddou makes that consistent sub of taking out Van Rooyen for [Kamogelo] Sebelebele.
Tso feels that Sebelebele pushes into the final third to create chances and believes the coach needs to restore Van Rooyen’s confidence.
Vilakazi also said he would still like to see Thabiso Lebitso given an opportunity. However, he maintained that Van Rooyen simply needs his confidence back, insisting he is a top player.
In his view, at national team level, that position belongs to Khuliso Mudau and Van Rooyen.
“If coach Ouaddou works on Van Rooyen’s self-belief, the team will continue into the right direction,” Vilakazi concluded.
