Orlando Pirates board to make a big decision – Report

Minnesota makes bid for Orlando Pirates’ Rele Mofokeng

MLS outfit Minnesota United, who also have Bongokuhle Hlongwane on its books, are keen to add more young South African talent to the roster.

“Minnesota United submits bid north of $2m for South African international winger Relebohile Mofokeng to Orlando Pirates. Talks are ongoing,” MLS insider Tom Bogert reported.

“Mofokeng, 20, big talent breaking through for club and country. It would be a U-22 initiative. MNUFC long-time admirers of Mofokeng,’ Bogert added.

‘Nkota is already a better player after leaving Pirates’

Would Mofokeng thrive in the MLS?
