Orlando Pirates receive huge offer from Europe for Mofokeng!

Posted on September 17, 2025

Orlando Pirates have received a massive offer for superstar Relebohile Mofokeng.

Orlando Pirates have just received a tantalising offer for Relebohile Mofokeng.

Russian Premier League side FC Akron Tolyatti submitted a big offer for Mofokeng.

PIRATES RECIEVE R26 MILLION OFFER FOR MOFOKENG

Akron submitted a huge offer of over R20 million (R26 million).

However, the Bucs rejected the offer for Mofokeng.

“It’s been confirmed to this publication Akron submitted a $1.5-million (R26m) offer to the Buccaneers, which was rejected, with Mofokeng looking set to remain at the club beyond the end of the current transfer window,” iDiskiTimes reported.

Meaning, as things stand, Mofokeng will remain at the Bucs. The talented Pirates attacker is not short of suitors or interest. The likes of Al-Ettifaq, Maccabi Haifa, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Minnesota United have all expressed interest in him this transfer window.

Meaning, Mofokeng has attracted interest from Europe, the USA and the Middle East.

MOFOKENG SET FOR A BIG YEAR

Mofokeng has gone from being a Bucs DDC graduate to a Pirates regular and one of the biggest stars in the PSL today. Now, he has an even bigger year ahead of him.

Bafana Bafana are on the brink of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Mofokeng is one of the players expected to form a part of Hugo Broos’ squad for the showpiece in the United States of America. As things stand, Bafana needs just 4 points from their remaining two matches against Zimbabwe (6 October) and Rwanda (13 October) to book their ticket to the FWC.

So, Mofokeng will be looking to play regularly as he strives to confirm his place in Broos FWC squad.

Meanwhile, with plenty of interest abroad, the Bucs attacker has some big decisions to make. For now, he remains with Pirates.

However, Mofokeng and his agents are well aware of the future possibilities on the cards.
