Orlando Pirates news: Two Bafana Bafana players

Orlando Pirates’ new winger, Kamogelo Sebelebele, signed from TS Galaxy, was one of last season’s standout players.

The Tembisa-born star delivered five goals, two assists, and a Bafana Bafana COSAFA Cup call-up that ended with a place in the Team of the Tournament.

Now 23, the diminutive attacker has swapped Mbombela for Soweto, becoming one of 12 new arrivals in the Orlando Pirates squad this season.

Orlando Pirates’ Thalente Mbatha has revealed how the Betway Premiership giants changed his world, bringing fame, pressure, and loss of privacy.

Orlando Pirates midfielder Thalente Mbatha has said joining the Betway Premiership giants turned his life upside down in a good and challenging way.

Since arriving in January 2024 from SuperSport United, the KwaMashu-born star has played 59 games for the Sea Robbers, scored five goals, and earned five Bafana Bafana caps after limited opportunities (just 29 appearances) at his former club.

Joining Orlando Pirates not only turned playing time around, but it also triggered a dream debut for Bafana Bafana—he scored on debut against Uganda and struck again against South Sudan in AFCON qualifiers…Full story here.
