Orlando Pirates gamble on Saleng

Of the 15 exits from Pirates, four attackers stand out. Mohau Nkota left for Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ettifaq. 27-year-old mercurial winger Monnapule Saleng is back at his old club Orbit College for a season-long loan after being frozen out at Mayfair. Meanwhile, industrious striker Zakhele Lepasa and winger Katlego Otladisa have been released.

New players at Orlando Pirates

Meanwhile, 12 new faces have arrived at Orlando Pirates. Midfield magician Sipho Mbule and Bafana winger Oswin Appollis are the headline arrivals. Tshepho Mashiloane and Nkosikhona Ndaba add depth in the full-back areas, while 22-year-old Lebone Seema has settled straight into the side, looking comfortable at centre back.
