Orlando Pirates have released 17 players this transfer window.

Orlando Pirates have offloaded a total of 17 players this transfer window.

This R9 million midfielder and attacker is the Bucs’ latest confirmed player departure. So, Let’s take a look at all the players who have left Mayfair.

PIRATES RELEASE 17 PLAYERS

Innocent Maela, Miguel Timm (Sekhukhune United), Paseka Mako (Kaizer Chiefs), Thabiso Monyane (Kaizer Chiefs), Phillip Ndlondlo, Monnapule Saleng (Orbit College), Mohau Nkota (Al Ettifaq), Zakhele Lepasa (Unattached), Yanga Madiba (Orbit College), Thuso Molekeki (Orbit College), Azola Tshobeni (Chippa United), Goodman Mosele (Chippa United, loan), Abdoulaye S Mariko (Chippa United), Karim Kimvuidi (SC Ashdod, Israel), Kabelo Kgositsile (Baroka FC on loan), Tefu Mofokeng (Mochudi Chiefs) and Katlego Otladisa have all been released by Pirates this transfer window.

So, Otladisa is the most recent Bucs star to leave the Soweto giants.

Meanwhile, he joins the list of aforementioned Pirates stars who jumped ship to join a new team for the 2025/26 season.

BUCS BUSIEST, CHIEFS VERY ACTIVE THIS TRANSFER WINDOW

Kaizer Chiefs have completed over 20 transfer deals.

These 10 players have been released by Amakhosi. Whilst, Chiefs have signed these 12 players.

However, despite securing over 20 transfer deals, Amakhosi have made far less deals than their rivals. Pirates have completed over 30 deals with these 14 players joining the Bucs. Thus, making them the busiest side in the PSL transfer window.

The PSL transfer window closes on 22 September. Therefore, there is still time for Pirates, Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns to sign and release more players.

Stay tuned to The South African as we unveil all the latest transfer moves as they happen.
